DEPARTING FELLOWS
Twenty-two Jefferson Fellows and four National Fellows departed from the Foundation community this year.
Program Highlights
The Foundation gives Jefferson Fellows an opportunity to prepare and deliver academic talks to a public audience early in their careers through its ongoing Fellows Symposia. Twenty-one Fellows presented this year, sharing their research and helping to foster a rich interdisciplinary dialogue. National Fellows convened at the Foundation twice, both in the fall and spring, for panel and roundtable discussions, as well as peer-to-peer workshops designed to help shape and provide direction for their research.
Significant Achievements
This year, Jefferson Fellows advanced research and innovation across the humanities, sciences, engineering, medicine, business, and public policy. Their work earned prestigious honors including the Raven Award, the Edgar F. Shannon Award, and National Science Foundation support, while producing influential scholarship and securing patents for emerging technologies. Fellows are tackling challenges ranging from labor migration and climate resilience to cancer treatment and space exploration. Together, their accomplishments reflect the intellectual breadth, interdisciplinary collaboration, and lasting impact that define the Foundation community.
