Incoming Fellows
The Foundation selected 25 world-class graduate students to receive one of two fellowships–the Jefferson Fellowship and the National Fellowship.
Selection Highlights
This year, the Foundation administered five distinct selection processes for its various graduate fellowship programs. The Jefferson Fellowship—the premier award for UVA’s Darden School of Business, Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and Graduate School of Engineering and Applied Science—includes four separate selection processes. The National Fellowship, which supports scholars completing dissertations in U.S. politics at top institutions, including UVA, has its own independent selection process. For both Jefferson and National Fellowships, finalists are evaluated and selected by panels composed of UVA alumni, faculty, and friends.
